I started taking photographs as a boy in rural Scotland. Photography since then has been a way to see extraordinary things in everyday objects and places. After twenty years as a commercial photographer I still find time to work on the black and white images that inspire me so much.
My solo exhibition Contact49 ran at SFMoma Artist Gallery in September 2018 and the accompanying book sold out upon printing. My work has been featured in many galleries including SFMoma Artist Gallery, Image Flow and Berkeley Art Center.
